As an accomplished people leader, you will guide a high‑performing team to deliver brand‑aligned marketing, strategic communications, dealer engagement, and measurable demand‑generation initiatives. Your work will directly support sales targets across national and state channels, driving visibility and commercial success. Key Tasks Include Manage Yamaha Motor Australia’s Land Mobility Marketing Department, ensuring delivery of all projects and activities Mentor and develop the marketing team, fostering a high‑performing, collaborative culture with clear development pathways Build a proactive “can‑do” team and maintain strong cross‑divisional relationships for strategic alignment Uphold Yamaha brand values and ensure consistent messaging to dealers, customers, media, and staff Oversee communication strategies via bulletins, announcements, and campaigns across print, digital, web, and social channels Oversee digital content across internal and external platforms remain current, relevant and secure Research and adopt innovative, cost‑effective communication strategies for present and future use Support communication themes for meetings, presentations, shows, and events Oversee advertising concepts and commission production across print, digital, and film Negotiate, manage, and implement advertising placements across media channels Support state sales offices with local advertising initiatives Liaise with agencies, media, and industry stakeholders to maximise exposure and ensure global brand consistency What we’re looking for The ability to develop strategies through analysis of diverse data sources Strong knowledge of business development and management practices Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Public Relations, or Advertising Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated organisational skills, management ability, and initiative Advanced leadership and team‑building capability High computer literacy with effective time management Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team Experience within the broader power sports industry is preferred A current driver’s licence is required, and a motorcycle licence is preferred but not essential 6‑monthly performance bonuses Discounted product purchases (including finance and insurance), along with the ability to borrow selected Yamaha products Opportunities to attend product launches and national events A friendly work environment that encourages individuals to exceed their goals and develop Being part of a global network within the Yamaha Group Companies Hybrid work‑from‑home arrangement Ready to lead with purpose, inspire your team, and make a real commercial impact?
