We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Point Vernon Aged Care Residence on a Part‑time basis (30 hours per fortnight). Join our dedicated aged care residence team as a vital member responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. In this role, you will handle cleaning and waste management tasks while following strict health and safety protocols to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff. You'll collaborate with colleagues, adapt to dynamic situations, and provide exceptional service with a positive approach. Your commitment to high standards and respectful interactions will make a meaningful difference in our community. Skills and Attributes Skills and attributes include but are not limited to: Competent in the use of cleaning equipment and correct chemicals by manufacturers’ instructions and procedures Housekeeping experience in an Aged Care or Hospital setting is advantageous. Ability to understand and apply Work Health Safety standards to internal work processes. A good level of communication skills, both verbal and written A good level of empathy and emotional intelligence to ensure Residents’ needs are understood and supported.
