The Location The Terraces a 148 bed residential aged care facility located in Varsity is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast as well as several shopping centres schools public transport restaurants and a vast range of health and community services. The Role This full time role will see you providing efficient supervision of the cleaning and laundry operations ensuring a safe high quality cleaning and laundry service to residents and guests in compliance with legislative requirements and ASNZS Standards for Laundry and Cleaning Practices. Responsibilities Manage all compliance aspects of cleaning and laundry services Provide leadership and supervision of the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping team Responsible for managing and working within budgets for cleaning laundry and labour costs ensuring budgeted hours are achieved Manage the ordering delivery stock control and storage processes for housekeeping services Communicate regularly with residents and committees to ensure the housekeeping services meet their needs and issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner Identify opportunities to continuously improve operational processes and practices Lead and manage Bolton Clarkes Occupational Health Safety and Environmental (OHS&E) goals Benefits A caring team environment with strong clinical support Generous salary packaging and not-for-profit tax benefits claim up to $15900 tax free plus additional $2650 in entertainment per year Private health insurance discounts An Employee Assistance Program for staff and family Career progression and development opportunities Training and support plus development opportunities Free annual flu shots Qualifications Demonstrated experience in commercial housekeeping Experience in organisation and management ability Substantial communications skills both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Evidence of Australian work rights Complete a police check (cost covered by Bolton Clarke) Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain) How to Apply Apply Now Our application process takes less than 10 minutes.
