You will have a small group to coach and inspire your team within the mechanical area. About the Role Reporting directly to the Director Procurement, the role is to lead one of the Procurement Commodity group and be responsible for the engagement of key suppliers through developing contracting and procurement strategic sourcing plans which deliver value for money and meet program schedule requirements. The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Logistic & Supply Chain or related discipline; Proven experience in managing end-to-end procurement in a large and complex business (ideally manufacturing/ industrial) environment, which delivered significant efficiencies and cost savings; High proficiency in contract administration, risk management and/or commercial management; Effective leadership and influencing skills with strong commercial orientation; Comfortable working in a matrix environment; Ability to travel interstate when required; and Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
