This role will suit someone who enjoys variety and ownership – you’ll touch everything from AP and AR to payroll, reconciliations, and assisting with month‑end reporting and BAS preparation. What You’ll Be Doing End‑to‑end accounts payable and accounts receivable Weekly and monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations Processing payroll and maintaining employee records Managing supplier invoices, statements, and payments Raising customer invoices and following up outstanding debtors Assisting with month‑end processes, journals, and reporting Preparing documentation and information for BAS, payroll tax, and external accountants Maintaining accurate records in the accounting system and supporting project/job costing Providing general finance administration and support to the CFO and wider team What You Bring Solid experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Officer or similar Strong AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations experience Experience in construction, property, or project‑based environments (highly regarded but not essential) Confident using cloud‑based accounting software (Xero or similar) High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisation A proactive, “own it” mindset and willingness to improve processes Strong communication skills and confidence working with both site and office teams This is a great opportunity for a dedicated Bookkeeper who wants more ownership than a basic processing role and enjoys being close to the projects and people behind the numbers.
