We are seeking a Mine Engineer to join our Technical Services team. This role is responsible for supporting the delivery of critical mine planning and production outcomes, while working closely with the Mine Manager, Mine Geology, Surveyors, and Underground Supervisors. About the Role As a Mine Engineer, you will play a hands‑on role in the planning and execution of underground mining activities. Key responsibilities include: Drill and blast design and implementation. Explosives management, ordering, and stocktake. Preparation of backfill and weekly mine plans. Data entry, reporting, and analysis (daily/weekly/monthly). Supporting Supervisors and underground operations. Conducting inspections of underground workings. Regular engagement with stakeholders to review and improve mine plans. What We're Looking For Tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering, Mining, or related discipline. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Technical skills in Deswik mine planning software. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities. 2-5 years' experience in underground mining. Ventilation Officer Training. Practical underground mining exposure towards QLD First Class Mine Manager requirements.
