Coordinator Accreditation Quality Improvement Join our highly skilled CAHS Accreditation team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people. Position Profile The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is seeking a collaborative, detail‑focused professional to join our Safety and Quality team as Coordinator – Accreditation & Quality Improvement . This is a unique opportunity to support CAHS in delivering safe, high‑quality, family‑centred care across our organisation. As a key member of the Accreditation Team, you will coordinate our National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards accreditation, evaluation and quality improvement activities. This includes managing ongoing document review, record keeping and evidence management. You will maintain oversight of activities across our three clinical services (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Child and Adolescent Community Health Services and Perth Children’s Hospital and Neonatology), while supporting divisional safety and quality leads, clinical teams and the broader organisation with accreditation preparedness, evidence collection, care standards and clinical advice. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence system‑wide quality improvement while maintaining meaningful engagement with clinical operations. Your ability to build strong relationships and establish credibility will be key in engaging with divisional teams and keeping accreditation, quality improvement and safety activities visible, proactive and part of everyday practice. Key Responsibilities Co‑coordinate the ongoing management of the CAHS accreditation program, including monitoring risks and preparing for accreditation cycles and surveys. Participate in and support National Standards Committees (Standards 2, 4, 5 and 6) and collate relevant documents and evidence. Maintain the CAHS Quality Action Plan and support clinical and corporate teams to implement timely and consistent quality improvement initiatives. Oversee the CAHS Clinical Indicator Program, ensuring accurate reporting, analysis and implementation of improvements. Develop and deliver professional development resources that strengthen staff understanding of accreditation, policy, and quality improvement principles. Provide expert advice, training and support to staff and senior managers on accreditation requirements, clinical indicators and contemporary quality methodologies. Collate, maintain and verify accreditation evidence—ensuring all documentation is current, accurate and aligned with NSQHS Standards. Monitor emerging local, national and international quality improvement initiatives to inform best practice. Qualifications and Experience We are seeking a collaborative, detail‑focused professional with strong relationship‑building skills and the ability to support clinical teams in understanding and meeting accreditation requirements.
