About the role This newly created role, which reports to the Academic Dean, will be responsible for the national leadership of curriculum, academic operations and high-level faculty management across all disciplines. The Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) will be pivotal as they work constructively with their team of four Academic Directors to collaboratively drive sector-leading excellence in the design, development and delivery of student‑centred courses. This will require the Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) to : Champion employability as the core focus of every course, subject and assessment Serve as a credible mentor and role model for faculty leaders and supervisors Consistently exceed the regulatory standards expected of higher education providers Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a national multi‑campus academic portfolio Advance the multifaceted integration of GenAI and digital learning technologies Proactively identify and leverage opportunities for continuous improvement Cultivate a culture of collaboration, cohesion and high faculty engagement About you If you’re passionate about international education, are an early adopter of EdTech and understand the distinct factors essential to the success of an independent non‑university provider, we would welcome your application should you meet the following criteria : Doctorate in a relevant discipline Active membership of a reputable academic and / or professional association Sophisticated understanding of the HESF, AQF, ESOS Act and related frameworks Record of achieving high student satisfaction and superior graduate outcomes Success in embedding employability and innovation in curriculum and assessment Appreciation for the specialised learning needs of international students Experience in the recruitment, development, engagement and retention of faculty Kaplan Business School At Kaplan Business School, we are one of only 18 self‑accrediting institutes of higher education in Australia and are recognised globally as an exemplar of international education, quality teaching, student support, employability and academic integrity.
