The Meat & Wine Co Barangaroo are looking for an experienced Restaurant Reservations Supervisor to lead the Guest Services Department within our high volume and fast paced restaurant. Our Barangaroo restaurant forms part of a vibrant, passionate and dynamic national team. Established in 2000, The Meat & Wine Co prides itself in providing an exceptional and unique steakhouse dining experience. The Meat & Wine Co has a unique atmosphere and ambiance which is dedicated to our African heritage whilst still having reference to Australian surroundings. Responsibilities Allocate and monitor all reservations and manage the door during service periods. Maximise seating times and allocations through multi-tasking and great communication between the management team. Responsible for processing financial transactions and closing procedures as per company standard. Manage the function process end to end - exceptional communication skills both external and internal. Work alongside the management and kitchen team to deliver a high level of customer service. An understanding of up to date reservation systems and working with loyalty programs, vouchers and gift cards. Impeccable presentation, grooming and communication standards. Willingness to undergo further on the job training. Flexible availability over a 7-day rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
