You will be working under the direct leadership of our client in a dedicated facility, with the option of occasional on-site travel.Position ResponsibilitiesThe QA Engineer – Procurement is responsible for overseeing feature testing, system testing, and writing automated tests within a QA team. This position works closely with application developers, business analysts, and infrastructure engineers through all stages of the software development process to ensure that all systems meet organization standards and end-user requirements.Responsible for application analysis, test strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution and defect trackingBeing able to report deficiencies and any output from the above stated QA processValidate fixes and ensures regression testing to given test cyclesAbsorb and understand system design, business rules, and functional components of large scale implementationsAdhere to established standards and procedures, including testing and documentation standardsQualifications / RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:
At least 5+ years of strong QA experience.2+ years of experience testing large-scale Procurement systems.Experience using HP ALM as Test Management & Defect tracking tool.Experience with different testing methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile and Scrum.Experience in creating Test plans, Test Cases, & Test ReportsExperience of Test AutomationWorking knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL Queries.Ability to interpret, evaluate and communicate detailed information.Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Being an individual & team contributorHaving good and robust English communication skillsAdditional
Master’s degree in Business, MIS or related fieldBachelor’s degree in business, computer science, IT or related field;Working Hours – 12.30pm to 9.30pm with a 1 hour breakReporting to Senior QA Manager based in HyderabadPreferred
Knowledge of Ariba Enterprise Suite.Java (J2EE), Web Services, and XML experience;
