About the role Our Early Years Places are community hubs offering child health services, supported playgroups, family support, parenting programmes, community engagement, and early childhood education, focusing on early intervention and prevention to empower children and families. We are a supportive multidisciplinary team with a broad range of early childhood teachers and educators, social workers, midwives, child health nurses, and allied health professionals committed to high‑quality work and wrap‑around early intervention services. Duties Manage a client caseload (families with young children aged 0‑8 years). Work in partnership with families to assess strengths, needs and risks; develop, implement and periodically review case plans. Support the delivery of other programs such as playgroups and parenting programmes. Our Benefits Salary benefits – package up to $15,900 pa of pre‑tax salary for everyday expenses before income tax is calculated. Skills and Experience We want you to be successful in your new role This means you’ll have a degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or a related discipline and: Demonstrated experience working with young children and families, applying high‑quality practical intervention and casework skills. High level understanding of preventative and early intervention approaches in child and family support, including partnership with parents in case‑plan development. High level interpersonal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with families from a range of diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in working with First Nations and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse families. Current driver’s licence and valid Blue Card.
