Position Overview Child & Family Practitioner – The Benevolent Society – Bidjigal Country, Hurstville – Permanent full‑time. Salary $76k‑$95k plus super and salary packaging. Role Summary Provide intensive family support within the Child Protection system to strengthen families and decrease risks. Undertake assessments, develop case plans, provide home visiting and implement evidence‑informed interventions. Duties Initial assessment of family strengths and needs. Develop case plans building on family resilience to overcome identified risks. Provide intensive home visiting. Implement evidence‑informed practices, partner with other services and support families to shape their next chapter. Benefits Salary benefits – package up to $15,900 pa pre‑tax. Skills and Experience Relevant industry experience is essential; tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Psychology or related discipline highly desirable. Experience identifying and addressing child protection concerns. High level written and verbal communication – important to document work. Current driver’s licence (pool cars available).
