Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Network Engineer based in Canberra, with flexibility for some remote work. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure to support project requirements. Day‑to‑day tasks include troubleshooting network issues, ensuring security protocols are adhered to, monitoring network performance, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to develop and execute solutions. The role aims to ensure the robustness, integrity, and scalability of network systems, contributing to the successful delivery of projects. Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience in Network Design, Administration, and Optimization Proficiency in Network Security, Firewall Configuration, and Access Controls Competence in Troubleshooting, Diagnosis, and Performance Monitoring Familiarity with Cloud Infrastructure and Virtualization Technologies Understanding of Systems Engineering and Integration Processes Effective Communication, Collaboration, and Project Management Skills Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are advantageous A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred Experience in the simulation and training industry or working within a military environment is a plus Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full‑time Industries: Defense and Space Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
