About the Role We are seeking an experienced NDIS Services Team Leader to join our growing team at Plan and Grow. This role is responsible for leading, coordinating, and overseeing the NDIS Services Department while maintaining a small hands‑on caseload. You will work under the Executive Management to support departmental growth, work closely with the Compliance Department to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and NDIS Practice Standards, and foster a collaborative, supportive team culture. As the Team Leader, you will be the key point of contact for staff, participants, families, guardians, support coordinators, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders, while modelling accountable and professional leadership at all times. Your Responsibilities As the NDIS Services Team Leader, you will: • Lead, support, train, and upskill NDIS Services staff, building confidence, capability, and accountability. • Promote and embed Plan and Grow’s Vision, Values, and Mission across the department. • Coordinate and manage a caseload of participants in line with organisational expectations. • Ensure all services are delivered in a person‑centred, safe, therapeutic, and trauma‑informed manner. • Act as the primary escalation point. • Maintain strong professional relationships with participants, guardians, support coordinators, allied health providers, and the NDIS. • Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and other documentation stated on the NDIS services quality management matrix are current, compliant, and of a high standard. • Assess, manage, and report incidents in line with internal policies and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements in cooperation with Compliance. • Assist HR or Compliance with investigation, performance management and disciplinary processes where required. • Participate in after‑hours emergency support when required. About You You are a confident, organised, and compassionate leader with a strong understanding of the NDIS and disability service delivery. You lead by example, communicate effectively, and balance compliance with genuine care and support. Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and people management experience. Strong organisational, multitasking, and time‑management skills. High attention to detail and commitment to compliance. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar leadership role. Minimum 8 years’ experience working within disability services. Sound working knowledge of the NDIS and Practice Standards. Current WA Driver’s Licence and access to a licensed vehicle. Proficient in both written and spoken English. Full Working Rights in Australia. NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain). Working With Children Check. 395 Record Check (to obtain). Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field. Experience supporting people with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours.
