Personal Protection Officer - Talent Pool Join Metro South Health as a Personal Protection Officer. This role is part of the Talent Pool, providing you the opportunity to work across Metro South Health facilities. Responsibilities Respond to safety incidents and provide personal protection during instances of aggression or violence. Conduct regular patrols, risk assessments, and emergency responses, including fire and lockdown procedures. Apply effective de‑escalation, negotiation, and restraint techniques to support staff and patient safety. Build positive relationships with staff and visitors, ensuring a professional and service‑oriented approach at all times. About You Proven experience in safety, security or emergency response—ideally within a healthcare or public service environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to de‑escalate and manage difficult situations effectively. A commitment to professionalism, integrity, and service excellence, even under pressure. The physical capability and resilience required for shift work and response duties.
