In this role, you will lead complex structural design projects, foster strong client relationships, and shape the future capabilities of the team. Based in Brisbane, you will provide technical leadership, manage key project portfolios, and support business development activities that contribute to a healthy and sustainable pipeline of work. You will work closely with a talented team of engineers, driving collaboration and ensuring practical, safe, and innovative outcomes for clients and their communities. This is a permanent position offering a balanced office-based environment with flexible working arrangements. Key Responsibilities Lead structural design projects from concept through delivery Develop and mentor emerging engineers within the team Engage with clients, stakeholders, and partners to drive outcomes Support business development, tenders, and proposals Oversee project performance, quality, and commercial results Review and verify design outputs to ensure compliance and innovation About you Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent) Chartered status and RPEQ registration Proven background in structural engineering design and project leadership Strong understanding of Australian design standards and codes Effective communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate Ability to build client relationships and contribute to work-winning activities Commitment to mentoring and developing technical teams Why Join this Project?
