Female Disability Support Worker – In-Home Support COMPLEX CARE DIS ABILITY SERVICES PTY LTD – Glenwood NSW We are looking for a female Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one in-home support for a participant residing in Glenwood. This requirement is based on participant preference and is a genuine occupational need. Shifts include mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional community outings. About the Role We are looking for a female Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one in-home support for a participant residing in Glenwood. This requirement is based on participant preference and is a genuine occupational need. Shifts include mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional community outings. What You’ll Be Doing You will work directly in the participant’s home to provide tailored, person-centred support, including: Daily living assistance (meal prep, dressing, personal care, household tasks) Supporting mobility and assisting with safe transfers Communication and cognitive support as required Encouraging structured routines and meaningful daily activities Accompanying the participant during community access or appointments Offering companionship, emotional support, and respectful engagement Maintaining a warm, safe, organised and supportive home environment Essential Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience in disability support Experience with physical disabilities, neurological conditions, ABI or psychosocial needs is highly regarded NDIS Worker Screening Check COVID-19 vaccination (3 doses) or valid medical exemption Familiarity with NDIS practice standards and participant-centred care Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently while following care plans Valid NSW Driver Licence Reliable, registered and insured vehicle Current First Aid & CPR certificates Smartphone with internet access Valid working rights in Australia Interpersonal Qualities We Value Empathy and genuine care Emotional maturity and resilience Problem-solving ability and common sense Strong listening and communication skills Calm, patient and consistent approach Reliability and teamwork mindset Application Questions You will be asked the following during the application process: How many years have you worked as a Disability Support Worker?
