Job Position Public Areas Attendant Duties Ensure the appearance of the property and its grounds are of the highest standard. Carry out various cleaning duties in all internal and external public areas of the property, achieving established standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitisation and presentation. Ensuring cleanliness of all internal and external public areas as well as sanitisation and stock levels. Public Areas refers to, but is not limited to, BBQs, pools, offices, stairwells, carparks, and shared bathroom facilities. Qualifications Ability to work Monday 0900 – 1630 & Tuesday 0900 – 1500. Previous housekeeping/facilities cleaning experience advantageous. Exceptional understanding and practice of safe manual handling, chemical handling, and hazard identification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A team advocate, willing to help others. Confidence to work alone and as part of a team. Punctual, efficient and courteous at all times with clients, guests and fellow staff. Please note, Turtle Beach Resort does not have lifts. Additional hours/shifts available in Housekeeping if interested. About Us Turtle Beach Resort is one of the largest, privately owned, family-orientated holiday resorts on the Gold Coast. This award‑winning resort has been in continuous operation for over 15 years. Situated within 400 metres of Mermaid Beach, right on the Gold Coast Highway the Resort is set in beautiful tropical gardens teeming with wildlife and a whole range of holiday activities. These include 6 pools, a full‑size tennis court, the amazing Splash Zone waterpark, kids cinema, guest BBQ’s and a 'putt putt' golf course around the grounds, in addition to a licensed onsite restaurant and convenience store.
