Fire Compliance Coordinator

About the Role We are seeking an organised and technically minded Fire Compliance Coordinator to manage Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS) compliance across a large NSW property portfolio. You will ensure tenants meet fire safety obligations, coordinate inspections and certifications, and maintain all compliance documentation in line with NSW legislation. This role blends administration and technical oversight and is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of the BCA, AS1851, and AFSS requirements. FPAS accreditation is preferred but not essential. Key Responsibilities Manage AFSS activities, registers, and documentation for leased and vacant sites Liaise with tenants and approved contractors to coordinate inspections and certification Review and verify compliance evidence, ensuring all records meet legislative standards Support tenants with AFSS and fire safety requirements Collaborate with project and tenancy teams to ensure new fitouts meet compliance standards Monitor AFSS progress and provide regular reports on risks and outstanding submissions About You Sound knowledge of NSW AFSS requirements, BCA, and AS1851 Proven experience coordinating AFSS or fire safety compliance Strong administrative and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with tenants, contractors, and internal teams FPAS / Accredited Practitioner (Fire Safety) knowledge Experience within government or infrastructure portfolios Understanding of active and passive fire systems Location: Sydney, NSW Employment Type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
