We are seeking a driven Cadet to join our Revesby office. This entry‑level role is perfect for someone beginning their career and eager to gain direct experience in fire safety, inspections, and building compliance, with strong mentoring from senior team members and company Directors. About the Role As a Cadet, you will play an important support role within our consulting team. You will gradually develop the foundational skills needed to contribute to passive fire inspections, building defect reporting, and compliance activities, while assisting with day‑to‑day operational tasks. Your responsibilities will evolve as you gain confidence, and may include: Providing daily administrative and project support to senior consultants and Directors. Assisting with scheduling, document preparation, and general office coordination. Communicating professionally with clients, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams. Accompanying consultants to site inspections to observe passive fire audits and compliance checks. Learning to identify basic building defects and non‑compliances under supervision. Supporting the preparation of reports, certificates, and audit documentation. Assisting with fee proposals, project planning, and maintaining accurate project records. Developing a working understanding of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant fire safety standards. This role offers a structured pathway toward more technical responsibilities as your skills and knowledge grow. About You We're looking for someone enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to begin a long‑term career in the building and fire compliance industry. Eager to learn and grow within the fire safety and building compliance field. Professional, reliable, and well‑organised. Strong communication and people skills. Confident using computers and Microsoft Office. Shows attention to detail and willingness to learn technical concepts. School leavers and early‑career applicants are encouraged to apply. A current Class C Driver's Licence is desirable but not essential. No previous experience is required — full training will be provided.
