The Hopkins Group (Australia) Services Pty Ltd Melbourne, VIC A$120,000-$150,000 p/a Hybrid Posted 1 day ago About the role The Hopkins Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Melbourne. This is a 12-month contract position where you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our organization. As Finance Manager, you will play a key strategic role in supporting the continued growth and success of our business. What you'll be doing Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for all group companies and divisions Oversee monthly management financials, variance reports, and supplementary reporting Prepare monthly Executive Summary for the Board Manage daily cash flow and prepare forecasts Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes Coordinate annual accounts and taxation with tax accountants Lead the annual audit process and ensure regulatory compliance Prepare monthly payroll tax, IAS and quarterly BAS for all companies Manage superannuation payments and reconciliations Liaise with banks on capital leasing and general banking matters Participate in M&A projects, including due diligence, financial modeling, and post-merger integration Identify and implement synergies and cost optimization opportunities What we're looking for Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a relevant professional qualification (e CPA, CA) Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders Proficient in the use of accounting software and financial modelling tools Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment What we offer At The Hopkins Group, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
