The Role: Blue Iris is seeking a passionate NDIS Support Coordinator with experience in the mental health space. We are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator with an understanding of the role, a passion for the mental health sector, knowledge around NDIS/NDIA processes and a relevant tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor degree). This role may also be suitable to those who are in the late stages of completing a relevant qualification. About the Team: Our highly regarded Support Coordination team is known for its person-centred and human rights-focused approach. We foster collaboration, support, and continuous improvement, ensuring team members thrive in this challenging yet rewarding industry. Experience as a Support Coordinator with current experience supporting participants with psychosocial disability and dual diagnosis. NDIS Worker Clearance, Blue Card, First Aid and CPR, and NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate. Strong knowledge of the NDIS guidelines, community services, and applicable legislation. Provide specialised support to individuals with complex mental health and behavioural challenges. Advocate for participants, ensuring they have access to the right services and support. Support participants in developing skills, independence, and resilience. Excellent communication, rapport-building, and problem-solving skills. Financial literacy to manage participant budgets. Reliable transport and sound administrative/IT skills. Resilient, empathetic, culturally sensitive, and a team player. Why Join Us?
