Operations Manager – Launceston Lead. Inspire. Drive Operational Excellence. We’re partnering with a leading organisation to find an experienced Operations Manager who can take ownership of a high‑performing facility and lead it into its next chapter of success. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll set the standard for operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. The Opportunity As Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end‑to‑end performance of the Launceston site, working closely with the executive team to deliver on strategic goals while ensuring day‑to‑day operations run seamlessly. You’ll lead three experienced managers – Transport, Production, and Maintenance – and oversee a workforce of 50–75 locally, with additional teams in Devonport and Hobart. This is your chance to step into a role where your leadership will directly influence culture, compliance, and profitability. Key Responsibilities Lead and Inspire: Coach, mentor, and develop your direct reports and broader team. Drive Operational Excellence: Manage budgets, KPIs, and implement best practice processes. Champion Safety & Compliance: Ensure WHS and QA standards are met and embedded in the culture. Continuous Improvement: Apply LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to optimise performance. Collaborate for Growth: Work with senior stakeholders to enhance market position and profitability. About You A mature, independent leader who thrives on autonomy and accountability. Process‑driven with a strong focus on safety and compliance. 10+ years’ experience in operations leadership, ideally within complex or industrial environments. Skilled in continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma). Exceptional people leadership and stakeholder management skills. Why This Role?
