Role Overview As an Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems critical to our production environment. This includes working on industrial refrigeration units, chillers, and HVAC systems to ensure compliance with food safety and operational standards. Key Responsibilities Install, service, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including industrial chillers and cold storage units. Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and food industry regulations. Maintain accurate service records and report on system performance. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support operational efficiency. Skills & Experience Applicants will need to possess recent experience in Airconditioning and Refrigeration with trade/diploma qualifications and at least two years of work experience in the industry. Certificate III in Airconditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent trade qualification). Proven experience in industrial refrigeration systems, preferably in food or meat processing environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
