About Us Sushi Hiro MG Pty Ltd owns one Japanese restaurant located in Mount Gambier. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations and ensuring that our customers have an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities Manage daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth front- and back-of-house coordination. Manage and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner. Maintain a positive and professional work environment. Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control costs to achieve financial and operational targets. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling procedures. Work with the kitchen team to develop and update the menu. Manage budgets, performance reporting, and business improvement strategies. Requirements Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a restaurant or hospitality manager. Proven leadership, staff supervision and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset. Sound understanding of hospitality compliance standards and cost control. Knowledge or appreciation of Japanese cuisine and dining culture will be highly regarded. In return you will get $70,000 - $80,000 + super per annum, negotiable based on skills & experience.
