We are currently seeking an effective Workshop Manager to manage our repairs and service in our Perth Branch. The Benefits Competitive salary – permanent full‑time role Career development within the global Bridgestone business 5 days extra leave every year after 2 years of employment An extra 5 days leave as a one‑off at each 5 year employment milestone Health checks / free flu shots Product discounts on Bridgestone Tyres Additional benefits & staff discounts The Opportunity Optimise activities by creating and implementing efficient systems and production plans to ensure our service solution meets our customers’ needs Ensure Tyre repairs, tyre repair consumables, wheel repairs and components are effectively managed to maximise productivity Develop and maintain a strong safety culture utilising risk assessments, hazard registers, safety observations, SWMS, pre‑start inspections, 3S inspections, toolbox meetings, incident investigations and audits Develop and distribute timely production reporting Manage the Workshop assets throughout their life cycle Co‑ordinate the selection, recruitment and on‑boarding of Workshop staff and identify their training and development needs About You – Essential Proven experience working in a production environment Proven ability to show flexible thinking and actions when required Demonstrated leadership skills and experience Demonstrated capability in demand forecasting, planning and production optimisation An effective collaborator with internal and external stakeholders Strong commitment to safety of yourself and others Valid driving licence Current work rights in Australia About You – Preferred Exposure to Off the Road (OTR) Tyres, mining, manufacturing or related industries Join a global leader and access product discounts, career progression and training opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
