St Marys District School is seeking a dedicated and organised Kitchen Supervisor to lead our school kitchen and support our students’ well‑being through healthy eating. About The Role Deliver and maintain the Healthy School Lunch programme within the assigned school through preparing, cooking and serving nutritious and tasty school lunches for children and staff, as well as undertaking kitchen cleaning duties and processes at the assigned location. Essential Complete two hospitality units:• SITXFSA005 (SITXFSA001) – Use hygienic practices for food safety• SITXFSA006 (SITXFSA002) – Participate in safe food handling practices; OR Complete one retail unit:• SIRRFSA001 – Handle food safely in a retail environment; OR Complete three community services and health industries units:• HLTFSE001 – Follow basic food safety practices• HLTFSE005 – Apply and monitor food safety requirements• HLTFSE007 – Oversee the day‑to‑day implementation of food safety in the workplace Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment Desirable Relevant qualification/s in food preparation/production Please note: The cost associated with obtaining a RWVP is the responsibility of the individual.
