An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Sous Chef at Strathfield Golf Club & The Fresh Collective. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will work with a successful, professional, and highly regarded hospitality group, the hospitality leader in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne iconic arts venues, including the Art Gallery NSW, Australian Museum, Queensland Museum, Sydney Theatre Company, Melbourne Theatre Company and Museums Victoria. Work closely with a highly successful management team Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Excellent working conditions and a generous remuneration package Free parking onsite The Role Utilise your creativity in preparing exceptionally presented dishes, consistent in flavour and appearance Working with a large company with multiple restaurants Work closely with the Head Chef to further your cooking skills and techniques Collaborate with the Head Chef to bring food and staff costs in online Motivate and manage the kitchen brigade, ensuring speed of service for restaurant and function service Manage the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef Follow all food safety procedures and legislation About You A motivated chef with a passion for creating excellent dishes Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, from busy restaurant and/or cafe Diploma Certified in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Punctual, self-driven and autonomous, whilst being open to direction and learning Excellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic In possession of a valid Australian working visa - able to work in a permanent full-time capacity To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below. #J-18808-Ljbffr
