Our care spans all ages and levels—from early intervention to inpatient and community-based recovery services. We’re dedicated to providing person-centred care, advancing research, and fostering education and training across all disciplines. Our Locations Include Manning Mental Health Service (Taree): Serving the Lower Mid-North Coast with inpatient care at Manning Hospital and a range of community services Greater Newcastle Mental Health Service: Inpatient care at the Mater Mental Health Centre in Waratah and community services across Newcastle and Charlestown Our services are structured by geographic areas and age groups—child & adolescent, adult, and older persons—and are supported by skilled multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, registrars, allied health, nurses, and administrative staff. Consultants work collaboratively and may provide peer support and cross-cover across the Greater Newcastle and Lake Macquarie regions.
