This is a 12 month fixed term, part-time (0.7 FTE) position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension. The ‘Baynton West Way’ has become a way of life for many of our students and staff. The Role The Network Support Officer is responsible for providing front‑line support to staff and students; ideally using their excellent knowledge of the computer network, programs and platforms to manage the day‑to‑day operations of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) devices. They will provide support, advice and issue resolution – making use of an internal ticketing system to track/solve problems. The successful applicant will analyse network and system performance, proposing innovative solutions to maximise both educational and administrative outcomes. It is highly desired that the successful applicant has knowledge on managing shared sites. Want to know more? Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills relevant to the operational maintenance of Information Technology networks. Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to plan and implement data security procedures. Demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external clients.
