Iconic Bakery Baker Bleu are looking for a skilled Front of house professional to join the leadership team at the helm of our Double Bay store. Known for our dark crust sourdough, delicious pastries, generously filled fresh sandwiches and excellent coffee, our Double Bay Bakery is a thriving hub on beautiful Guilfoyle Avenue. Minutes from the bay, the bakery is filled from morning to afternoon with regulars, locals and tourists alike. Our bakers work on site, freshly baking bread and pastries to fill the shelves, alongside our team of chefs who fill fresh sandwiches throughout the day. We're looking for a passionate hospitality pro to lead the front of house team and ensure our customers continue to get the great in store experience for which we're known. This is a great role for a hospitality professional looking for a fulfilling and challenging role, without the late finishes of a restaurant environment - get your nights back About the role As the front of house manager, you'll be responsible overseeing the daily operation of our retail team, to ensure quality standards are met across customer service and coffee, and things are running smoothly. You'll be the face of the business day to day - You'll quickly know the names of our regulars In terms of further management responsibilities, you'll be driving recruitment and selection, training, and forward planning for the front of house team as well as overseeing ordering, stock management and demand planning to meet sales and wastage targets, along with cogs and wage targets.
