Greater Shepparton City Council – Shepparton VIC Salary: $73,089.64 per annum pro rataClosing: Friday 12 December 2025Part Time (various) - Temporary (to 30 June 2026) What You’ll Do Be the face of fruit fly control — educate and support customers to reduce the impact of fruit fly. Monitor and maintain Lynfield traps, identify and record fruit fly numbers, and report findings to the Regional Coordinator. Target hot spot areas, build relationships with landholders, and help remove unmanaged habitats. Assist with distributing resources to community, industry, and government organisations. Support events and meetings that promote fruit fly awareness. What We’re Looking For Interest in field work and horticulture. Excellent communication skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders. Basic tech literacy (iPad/tablet) and strong time management.
