Field Services Technician

Exciting opportunity to grow and develop your skillset in a field-based role as a Field Services Technician with Intrax Consulting, a leading end-to-end supplier delivering optimised engineering, surveying, and geotechnical solutions. Intrax Consulting is seeking a highly driven individual to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Northern Victorian region. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and looking for a role that allows them to grow and expand their career in the great outdoors. Role Responsibilities: Drill and log boreholes (mechanical auger/hand auger) Operate Machinery (ute mounted auger/percussion tube sampler) Take soil samples and logging in accordance with AS Produce Site Reports Produce Feature Surveys Assist with Drafting/Engineering/NATA Accredited Lab Teams Communicate internally with staff and on occasion clients Organising your day efficiently and effectively under changing conditions Requirements: 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role/some site experience (desirable but not essential) Full and valid manual driver’s license and 3.5t towing experience (desirable but not essential) Experience/exposure to operating machinery (ideally ute mounted drilling rigs) and survey equipment (ideally Leica or similar; desirable but not essential) Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of programs Preferred knowledge of logging procedure in accordance with AS and understanding of AS and AS Industry White Card (essential) Willingness to work outdoors and mechanical aptitude Eligibility for full-time work within Australia Our Benefits: Employee Assistance Program: A 24/7 service that includes unlimited counselling for you and your family Market leading parental leave: 12 Weeks for primary carer and 4 Weeks for secondary carer Ability to purchase additional annual leave Day off for charity work annually Intrax Consulting Group is an award-winning multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy providing reliable, end-to-end solutions to the built environment across Australia.
