The Opportunity Reporting to the Head of Legal, this is a senior appointment within the legal function, focused on supporting the real estate division and playing a key role in the legal structuring of complex, premium developments. On Offer A senior legal position within a highly regarded, entrepreneurial platform. Exposure to high-value transactions across residential, mixed-use, and wellness assets. Influence over project delivery, from launch through to completion and settlement. Collaborative culture blending legal, development, and commercial expertise. Discretionary bonus and lifestyle benefits, including wellness club access. Responsibilities Lead legal matters across real estate transactions and off-the-plan sales. Draft and review contracts of sale, agency agreements, and marketing collateral. Oversee project completions and contract administration for settlement readiness. Advise on legal risk, structuring, regulatory compliance, and tender processes. Manage external counsel and align legal strategy across internal teams. Support and mentor junior legal team members, where required. Requirements Law degree and an Australian Practising Certificate (or eligibility). Minimum 7 years’ PQE with strong real estate and property law experience. In-house or secondment experience within property or project environments will be viewed favourably. Demonstrated expertise in off-the-plan contracts and complex project structuring. Exposure to build-to-rent and/or build-to-sell models within premium or large-scale developments. Proven contract management and negotiation capability. Confident communicator with presence and credibility across senior and high-net-worth stakeholders. Commercially sharp, detail-focused, and effective under pressure. Proactive, adaptable, and trusted team player with sound judgement.
