HQ Group’s (Arbory Bar & Eatery, HER, Straight Up Cocktails) annual pop-up restaurant and bar, AFLOAT, is back to grace Melbourne's CBD from September through to June. Nestled on the North side of ‘Birrarung’, AFLOAT transforms each year with a new fit-out and theme, drawing inspiration from our favourite international holiday destinations. Season 10’s re-launch brings a familiar face back to Melbourne’s hallmark summer social scene; with the venue’s interior, design, food & beverage offering, music & entertainment program and a reminder that the good times are right around the corner. We are currently seeking experienced Pizza Chefs to join our team at AFLOAT. Working in a dedicated pizza kitchen, you will have the opportunity to deliver the best hand stretched Neapolitan style pizzas in Melbourne. The role You will work as part of a team and assist with ordering, prep and stock. You will work in a high-volume environment but not compromise on quality and preparation of ingredients. You will be supported by Management. What we are looking for Previous hands‑on experience making authentic hand‑stretched pizzas. Experience working in a high volume and fast paced kitchen. A passion for all things PIZZA A calm, respectful and professional pizza chef. Excellent communication and organisation skills.
