Settlements Officer

We're looking for a self-motivated and conscientious professional to join our Settlements team. As a Settlements Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of securities transactions in a fast-paced environment within private sector.
What you will be doing
Process various transactions and instructions using the FNZ Broker settlement system and interfaces to Clearing House Electronic Subregister System (CHESS) and Share registries
Process conversion of ASX securities from Issuer to CHESS
Process, administer and update ASX Broker to Broker CHESS transfers
Process client requested and authorised off market transfers of ASX securities
Communicate, escalate and provide information to management, front office staff, the branch network, share registries and other brokers in response to enquires
What you will bring
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate processing
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work in a team environment
Self-motivated and ability to meet deadlines
Service focus
Sound prioritisation and problem solving skills
Previous experience with Equities Settlements (advantageous)
Experience with FNZ Shares (advantageous)
