Medical Receptionist/Administrator

Homeless Healthcare is a dynamic, not-for-profit organisation providing healthcare to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Perth. The organisation operates a variety of services including a fixed site GP clinic, mobile GP clinics, street outreach and a Medical Respite Centre. We are looking for an experienced receptionist/medical administrator to become a key member of our team. You will be based at our clinic in Highgate. Qualifications An enthusiastic and friendly disposition with excellent communication skills. Demonstrated experience in a similar customer-facing administrative role. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and work independently as duties require. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to effectively manage competing priorities, including assessing urgency of response with a positive approach to consumer service. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong computer skills, including sound knowledge of Microsoft365. A willingness to learn and develop new skills. Knowledge of Medicare Australia documentation, Medical Billing and Patient Management software desirable. An understanding of trauma-informed and patient-centred care.
