As a lead organisation in maintaining essential community services, we are dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of our island's infrastructure to serve our vibrant community. The islands are home to the Tiwi people, who have a strong affiliation with their land and waterways, along with a distinctive culture and language. There are school and medical facilities on the islands, with regular plane, passenger ferry and barge services operating to Darwin. Role Reporting directly to the CEO and as a senior executive within Council, you will work closely with your team to deliver a range of town services to the community. You will be responsible for strategic planning, delivery, maintenance, compliance management, and fostering innovation within your team. There will also be a specific focus on instilling a team culture based on customer-focus and a genuine commitment to excellence. You You will have a track record in managing diverse operational portfolios, strong strategic planning skills, and a collaborative approach to team management. You should be committed to delivering high-quality services, ensuring compliance with legislation, to maximise value for the community. You will receive 6-weeks' annual leave per year, along with a salary between $120,000 and $130,000 (plus superannuation), relocation assistance and accommodation.
