Workforce Planning and Insights Specialist We’re looking for a dedicated Workforce Planning and Insights Specialist to join our "Simpler for Stores" team. The role focuses on leading workforce and labour analysis to ensure the 12,000 team members across 350+ retail sites have the right labour at the right time. About the Role Flexible work arrangements. A pivotal role within the workforce planning function. Unleash your inner strategist by applying data‑driven insights to optimise productivity. Lead workforce and labour analysis for 350+ retail sites. Translate complex business problems into clear workforce planning solutions. Design and produce regular, simplified reporting for Operations teams. Create actionable productivity insights across brands. Support and challenge delivery of labour hours budget outcomes. Build and support workforce planning for events and long‑term projections. Partner with Brand Finance and Operations teams to identify performance opportunities impacting wage budget delivery. Qualifications 3‑5 years of operational workforce planning experience (retail preferred).  Advanced analytical & modelling skills; experience linking data to business problems. Proficiency in SQL and Tableau; Python desirable. Comprehensive understanding of workforce planning methodologies, systems and processes. Experience in budgeting and forecasting workforce requirements using bottom‑up methodologies. Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to manage cross‑functional outcomes. Ability to understand and interpret wage reporting, productivity impacts, and Enterprise Agreements. Strong planning and organisational skills; able to work independently and with video conferencing. Travel interstate and within the state where required. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering or similar field. Desirable: experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), project & transformation environment, time & attendance systems, large format or convenience retail experience, and interpretation of enterprise agreements.
