Disability Support Worker. Casual Leederville

About the role As a Disability Support Worker you will be providing person‑centred support to male and female clients with disability in Leederville and surrounding suburbs. This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for you to make a positive change in the lives of people with a disability. You will provide one‑on‑one support in their homes and out in the community. Shifts will range from 4‑8 hours and include overnights across a 24/7 roster. Key Responsibilities Do you enjoy music, sports and antique cars? You will have plenty to chat about Independently support clients who display high challenging behaviours Assistance with personal care Provide transportation to appointments or community access Respond to changing routines and support needs in volatile environments Availability for short‑notice shifts and sleepovers is essential Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families and your team Skills & Experience Certificate III in Disability or similar or relevant experience Ability to work autonomously supporting clients one on one in the community and in their homes An unrestricted Western Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle Demonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktop A current First Aid Certificate which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 Successful candidates will be required to clear all state‑based probity checks including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
