About The Role We are looking for experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same. Responsibilities may include: Working in the social model across diverse settings: homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres Using assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving goals and maximising NDIS funding Building meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends) Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies within a positive behaviour support framework Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges Attending weekly team meetings in the Hub and contributing to team discussions Tap into knowledge and support from the Team Leader and Therapy Mentor Who We Are Looking For To Work As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and registration as applicable.
