Who we are looking for To teach in a Western Australian public school, you must have a recognised, completed initial teacher education qualification. This may be a completed Bachelor of Education, or equivalent; or an undergraduate degree and a post‑graduate teaching qualification. Eligibility and training provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check. meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration complete the Department’s Aboriginal Cultural Appreciation course complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
