Laboratory Technician / Preparation Sampler Join Bureau Veritas North America as a Laboratory Technician / Preparation Sampler in Mackay, Queensland, Australia. The Role As a Laboratory Technician / Preparation Sampler you will: Use specialised equipment to conduct laboratory testing of coal samples, or prepare coal samples through manual handling tasks. Participate in the simulation of coal production processes to evaluate the properties of coal samples. Follow safe work practices, including ongoing drug & alcohol testing and site induction requirements. Work shift schedules, weekends and overtime as required; no FIFO needed. Qualifications Valid QLD C Class manual driver’s licence and reliable transport. Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks. Sound numerical skills.
