Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 (Based on experience and award conditions) Are you a hands‑on leader with a passion for baking and guiding high‑performing teams? At Earlyrise Baking Co, we’re on the lookout for a Bread Department Supervisor to join our production team and lead the way in crafting our iconic bread varieties – white, multigrain, wholemeal, fruit loaves, sourdoughs, brioche and more. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for supervising and working alongside our Bread Department team to ensure smooth production, consistent quality, and a strong, collaborative culture. Shift Pattern Week 1: Monday to Friday | 6:00 am – 3:30 pm Week 2: Sunday to Thursday | 6:00 am – 3:30 pm You’ll alternate weekly to ensure smooth handover and consistent coverage across the Bread Department. About the Role In your role as a Bread Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to: Lead by Example: Guide and mentor the team while working shoulder to shoulder in daily production. Schedule & Resource Coordination: Ensure production schedules are met by coordinating staff duties and managing ingredient and supply orders. Champion Food Safety: Uphold and exceed cleanliness, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards. Work Safe, Think Safe, Bake Safe: Promote WHS best practices and build a strong safety‑first culture. Engage and Develop: Support the Production Manager in driving team engagement and performance improvement. About You Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing or food production. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bakery, production, or similar fast‑paced manufacturing environment. While not mandatory, an AQF qualification in Baking or a related food production qualification would be highly regarded. Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety Standards (formal training a bonus). Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain high standards of quality in work. Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (maximum 25kg). Why Earlyrise Baking Co?
