Scope Mix, weigh and bake fresh loaves (white, multigrain, wholemeal, brioche, sourdough and more) Shape doughs by hand and using automated machinery Follow recipes and record ingredients Maintain a clean, safe work area Work as part of a fast-paced production team Apprentice Pastry Chef/Cook Prepare, weigh and bake pastry and sweet products Create pies, sausage rolls and tarts from scratch Shape and laminate pastry Follow recipes accurately Maintain food safety and hygiene standards Who we’re looking for Enjoy hands‑on work Want to build a real career Are reliable and ready to learn Stay calm when things get busy Are finishing school, recently left school, or want to move from retail/fast food into a trade About Earlyrise Baking Co We’re a proud family‑owned bakery with strong ties to our local communities.
