Job Summary Permanent part‑time Enrolled Nurse position at Lifeblood’s Maitland Donor Centre. 32 hours per fortnight on a rotating roster, Monday to Saturday, including afternoons and weekends. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate starting at $36.60 plus penalties (if applicable), superannuation and optional salary packaging (up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals and entertainment). Minimum 5 weeks annual leave (up to 6 weeks). 14 weeks paid parental leave, no waiting period. Employee assistance program (Sonder 24/7 access). Access to Lifeblood’s well‑being programs, diversity and inclusion support. Responsibilities Greet and interview potential donors to assess eligibility and suitability. Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests. Set up machines, tubing and collection bags; insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood and plasma. Coach and guide other team members in the blood collection process. Manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance. Monitor donors post‑donation and assist them to rebook for their next donation. Qualifications & Requirements Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration. Experience or passion for delivering an exceptional donor experience. Ability to lift 9–22.7 kg, stand, walk and bend for extended periods. Flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday, including weekends and afternoon shifts.
