Join to apply for the Nurse Education Coordinator - Prison Health role at Northern Territory Government . Pay Range Base pay range: A$160,157.00/yr – A$166,812.00/yr. This role is based in Alice Springs and is available for one full‑time vacancy, either ongoing or fixed for two years. Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership by coordinating education, training, and mentorship for staff across a multidisciplinary team. Promote, develop and implement clinical best practice in line with NT Health policies and procedures, consistent with relevant NT Correctional Service directives and NT Police Watch House orders at the Alice Springs Correctional Centre (ASCC) and Police Watch House (PWH). Support primary health care services in correctional and remote settings that operate seven days per week, with potential shift work requirements. Qualifications Registered nurse holding a current certificate of registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Postgraduate qualification in health education, clinical governance or related field (essential for ongoing appointment). Fixed‑term appointment may be offered to applicants who do not yet hold the qualification, subject to attainment during the fixed term. Location Alice Springs, Northern Territory.
