Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Better Staff IT Talent Partner - MSP & Education at Better Staff Growing Australian MSP | Senior Engineer $125,000 - $140,000 + Super We’re partnering a leading Managed Service Provider in Sydney seeking a skilled Systems & Network Engineer with strong capability across networking, firewalls, Windows, cloud, and server infrastructure. You’ll work across a diverse tech environment, delivering mainly project but also some BAU/ Managed Services escalations across modern on-prem and cloud stacks. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing national team where you’ll be exposed to a wide range of technologies and have genuine scope to grow. What You’ll Do Deliver end-to-end infrastructure, cloud, and security projects. Act as a Level 3 technical advisor, directly supporting and guiding key customers. Install, configure, and rack servers, including OS deployment and core services. Support presales activities through scoping, solution design, and contributing to SOWs. Provide post-implementation support, documentation, and knowledge transfer. What You Need 5+ years in a Professional Services or Managed Services environment, with strong project and advisory experience. Strong networking & security capability (Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Aruba). Solid understanding of AD, DNS, Azure/M365, and cloud networking. Hands-on experience with VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Linux. Excellent troubleshooting ability, documentation skills, and customer communication. Nice to Have Certifications such as NSE, CCNA/CCNP, or other vendor credentials. ITIL knowledge and experience working with RMM/PSA tools. Why This Role?
