QHSE Advisor – Port Hedland, WA Our client is recruiting a QHSE Advisor to work FIFO in the Northwest of WA. Responsibilities include working with local teams and the client to ensure compliance with WHS obligations and contractual arrangements, conducting inspections, investigations, risk assessments, and technical reporting. Required Qualifications Hold a Construction Safety Induction (white card) Certificate IV, diploma or degree in OHS, HSE, WHS, or similar discipline Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience in heavy construction, mining or oil & gas, preferably in the north‑west of WA Experience conducting workplace inspections and managing critical risk programs Lead ICAM workplace incident investigations Facilitate risk assessment workshops with key local stakeholders Technical writing skills for safe procedures, method statements and instructions Reporting of HSE trends to project leadership Experience in maritime construction or oil & gas industries Candidate Profile Effective communicator, providing expert advice and feedback to stakeholders Committed to building rapport with local teams, clients and senior leaders Confident in writing and updating safety, risk and environmental procedures Objective and diligent, especially during audits and investigations Proactive, holistic approach to HSE in industry contexts Only candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.
