Civil Engineer - Urban Development & Infrastructure This role is based in Brisbane, Queensland and aims to deliver innovative civil engineering solutions for subdivision and infrastructure projects across South East Queensland and other states. The position is part of a multi-disciplinary consulting firm that manages projects from initial concept and design through construction and commissioning, focusing on urban development, water/drainage, and transport. About the Role Design and deliver civil engineering solutions for subdivision and infrastructure projects. Prepare detailed subdivision, road, drainage, earthwork and utility design using 12D or Civil 3D. Manage project timelines, budgets and stakeholder relationships to ensure smooth delivery. Liaise with councils, government authorities and utility providers to obtain approvals. Occasionally oversee construction phases and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations. Work autonomously while also collaborating with a broader multidisciplinary team. Experience with report writing, pricing, bidding and tendering is advantageous. About you Bachelor of Civil Engineering with experience in subdivisions, land development or urban infrastructure. Proficiency in 12D and/or Civil 3D, AutoCAD. Strong understanding of local council and Australian engineering standards. Excellent communication skills for internal and external liaison. A proactive problem‑solver who seeks solutions before seeking guidance. Experience in site inspections and construction supervision is a plus.
